adopt a pet today

I have had the pleasure of working with an amazing Veterinary clinic, Animal Medical Hospital, for the past few years.  They are a 24/7 clinic full of amazing doctors partnered with a wonderful support staff!  You can check them out on facebook, twitter and youtube.

They have recently partnered with the Humane Society of Charlotte and are now their vet of choice.  All adoptions get a certificate to go to Animal Medical for their first round of treatments.  It really is a great partnership and a win/win situation for all involved…Especially the animals!

The Humane Society is participating in the ASPCA RACHAEL RAY Community Engagement Award Contest, a push to adopt a certain amount of pets during a set time period.  The winner of this contest will win $100,000 for their location to use for programs and animal care. Humane Society Charlotte had a goal of around 800 (300 more than their final adoption count last year of 500+).  When I was there last week they were already up to 1108 with a few weeks left to go!  SO GREAT!  Please take a minute to go vote for Charlotte on Facebook!

We took photos and videos of the location to use at the Animal Hospital.  Have you ever taken photos of animals?  It is NOT easy!  Here are a few shots we got that day!

I am not in the place to have a pet of my own right now, but do think I can do my part in becoming a foster parent!  You can find out more information about that here if you would like!

Strengths in calligraphy, painting and photography soon grew into strengths in corporate identity strategy and marketing/communications support.
