Blog Goodness

Here are a few things I am crushing on lately.

1.  I LOVE, LOVE the blog A Beautiful Mess.  She always has great creative ideas on photography, fashion and life in general.  This week she shared her Spring Art Journal.  What a great creative twist.

2. A CMYK Wedding.  I know only a graphic designer – or maybe a printer would really appreciate this, but holy moly.  LOVE 🙂  Does it make me a dork that I think this is pretty amazing?  Check out the details here.

3. One of my friends that I have mentioned before is the blogger at The Fortunate Plight.  She recently had a blog entry where she mentions the room planner at Urban Barn.  VERY COOL people!

4. I love the new spring collection of Rifle Paper Co.  Such great floral design!

5.  This past week I was the chair of a regional conference for marketing and business development professionals.  We had SMPS members come in from 7 states and so my co-chair and I brought in Terry Hawkins as our opening keynote speaker.  Terry was an amazing speaker with such a great message to our attendees.  She helps you see the difference in living your life in the pit – or living as “PitMan” and transforming out to become what she has termed “StickMan”.  You can even take a quiz to see which you are! She was a special, special lady both on stage and off.  I would recommend her to anyone!

About dryinkdesigns

A marketing and business development background is the foundation for Mandi Boedicker’s passion for creating memorable branding support for a number of clients. Initially a graphic designer by trade, Boedicker’s marketing experience in the construction industry sparked a passion for networking and community partnerships. Dry Ink Designs was a natural next step. Boedicker’s freelance client work had spanned over ten years already while maintaining a full-time career, so she turned her creative energy into a career that benefitted the relationships she was building. Strengths in calligraphy, painting and photography soon grew into strengths in corporate identity strategy and marketing/communications support.
